The Ceremony Lawn
Vows beneath an open Kentucky sky, with pasture and bluegrass as your only backdrop.

For generations, Augustus Hill has been a working horse farm — its pastures grazed by thoroughbreds, its renovated stables built by artisans. Today, we open the gates to a small number of families each season, for weddings and gatherings.

Guests arrive along a private mile of curving lane, past three spring-fed ponds and the century-old stone quarry. It is, by design, a slow approach — an unhurried hand-off from the world outside.
Rising above the southwest lawn, a handcrafted sailcloth pavilion becomes the heart of the celebration—framed by linen, garden roses, candlelight, and the soft glow of fireflies beyond the tent.

Restored stables crafted with reclaimed antique timber—where guests gather for cocktails, meet the thoroughbreds, dance late into the night, and retreat for quiet conversation.

An open-air setting for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres overlooking the stables and surrounding countryside.
A bespoke sailcloth pavilion, elegantly tailored to gatherings both intimate and grand.

A limited calendar each year, by private inquiry.

"Some evenings, the mares come down to the fence line as if they, too, have been invited."
A quiet glimpse of Augustus Hill — the light, the land, and the long Kentucky evenings.

Candlelight, linen, and the soft murmur of a summer evening on the farm.
